Gifts from Handpicked Customer,

We wanted to take this opportunity in these uncertain times to let you know that our website remains open and we are dispatching all orders Monday-Friday as normal.

We wanted to let you know the provisions we have implemented to protect our staff, suppliers and customers.

We are currently following the governments most recent advice, which is as follows:

“With the exception of some non-essential shops and public venues, we are not asking any other businesses to close – indeed it is important for business to carry on."

“Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal."

We are continually monitoring and reviewing the situation and will continue to act in line with official advice, but until told otherwise we will continue to adhere to rules and carry on as normal.

We have increased our cleaning frequency and all staff have access to hand sanitiser, gloves and hand washing facilities.

Our members of staff who can work from home have been doing so and our team are keeping in frequent contact with each other via email, phone and video calls. This has meant a significant reduction in staff working on the premises and as such we have implemented a 'zero contact' policy between our staff and any third-party site visitors (delivery/collections).

There is never any entry into our physical warehouse other than 2 staff members. Delivered items and parcels for collection are stored outside to enable this to be successfully executed, clearly indicated by signs to allow our multiple collections to run as normal.

All of our delivery partners are now also operating ‘contact free' deliveries and many are advised to sign for parcels on a customer’s behalf if required or leave the parcel in a safe place.

We have said from the beginning at Gifts from Handpicked that as long as you keep ordering and it is safe and viable for us to carry on with business, we will continue to send out customer orders in the safest manner.

We hope our gifts, birthday presents, decorations and much more can bring smiles to people’s faces at a time when as a community we need it most.

We have seen an increase in our gift wrap service, the messages are sure to put a smile on people’s faces.

Our thoughts are with all of our amazing customers during these difficult and uncertain times. Gifts from Handpicked hope everyone is staying safe, listening to advice and making the best of a difficult situation.

We would like to thank all of our amazing customers for their orders and for continuing to support our small business over the past twelve years.
